We have always loved to travel.

Not the rushed, fly-in, fly-out kind. The slow kind. Waking up somewhere new. Changing plans on a whim. Having everything you need with you and nowhere you have to be.

For years, we have explored the UK and Europe in our own campervan. Every trip reinforced the same thought: more people should experience this freedom.

At the same time, we understood why many don’t. Owning a campervan can be expensive. It requires space. For first timers, the idea of a road trip can feel overwhelming, especially when you are unsure how everything works.

That gap between aspiration and reality is where T.C. Campers began.

In 2024, we saw an opportunity to acquire brand new VW Transporter vans and moved decisively. It was not simply a business purchase; it was a commitment. We invested in building premium campervans designed for real journeys, not just for Instagram photos.

We did not want to create just another campervan hire company. We set out to build a business which offers an unforgettable experience.

What began as an idea quickly became months of problem solving, design refinements and long evenings reviewing details. Building something properly takes patience. We chose standards over speed.

Each campervan was carefully designed to be effortless to drive, intuitive to use and genuinely comfortable to live in. From the layout and materials used, down to the smallest functional detail, everything was considered. Nothing was rushed. Nothing was left to chance.

Throughout the process, one question guided every decision: "Would we be happy hiring this campervan?"

If the answer was not a clear yes, then campervan was not ready.

When our first booking came in, we felt more than excitement. We felt trust. Someone had chosen us to be part of their holiday.

Since then, that trust has remained the foundation of our business.

Today, T.C. Campers is an award-winning campervan hire company, recognised for quality, customer care and attention to detail. We are proud of dozens of five-star reviews and incredibly proud that in our first year we’ve had 100% 5-star reviews, and repeat bookings, yet what matters most is hearing customers that say their trip felt relaxed, supported and seamless, especially when it was their first time.

We do more than hand over keys. We help plan routes, recommend campsites, guide first time hirers and support special occasions on the road. We remain available throughout the journey, because our customer service does not stop at collection.
