Our Story

This was never just about hiring out a campervan.

Today, T.C. Campers helps couples, friends and families finally take the trip they've been talking about for years. Two off grid campervans, ENOLA and FENYX, dogs welcome, free parking, unlimited mileage, and a welcome hamper waiting on arrival.

No stress, no guesswork, just get in and go.

But it didn't start like that.

It started with our own campervan. We had it converted over winter 2017, and by Easter 2018 we were taking our first trip in it ourselves. That's where it all really began.

We knew what it felt like to want that kind of freedom and not quite know how to get there. The unknowns. The "is this actually going to work for us" feeling. The sense that a campervan trip sounded brilliant in theory and a bit daunting in practice.

So we started figuring it out properly, for ourselves first, then for everyone who came after us. Over time that turned into a S.I.M.P.L.E. way of thinking about it, one we still use to guide every trip we send people on:

That's how T.C. Campers became what it is now. Not just a campervan hire company, but something closer to a proper send off. Clear agreements so people feel secure. A thorough handover so nothing's a surprise. Everything explained so customers feel confident from the first mile.

And the bit we love most is hearing the same thing over and over: people who weren't sure they'd manage it, telling us afterwards they wish they'd done it years ago.

We don't believe people need more options. We believe they need someone to walk them through it. That's the difference between hiring a campervan and actually having the trip.
